ORIGINS
Santa Teresa 1796 is a triple-aged, single-estate Venezuelan solera rum renowned for its exceptional quality and low sugar content, with only 3 grams per 750ml bottle. this super-premium rum, aged for up to 35 years in American white oak barrels previously used to age bourbon. it is crafted entirely on the hacienda Santa Teresa, where the sugar cane is grown, processed, fermented, distilled, blended, aged and bottled.
Santa Teresa, Venezuela’s oldest rum producer, is a family-owned distillery with over 228 years of history. its award-winning Santa Teresa 1796 rum is crafted using the artisanal solera method, and is renowned for its dry, smooth, and complex character while maintaining a uniquely low sugar content.
SCENT & FLAVOR
APPEARANCE: Reddish-amber and rich in tears.
NOSE: Fruity aroma with notes of wood, prunes, dry fruit, honey, tobacco, and dark chocolate.
PALATE:Toasted and smoked flavor notes of dark chocolate, nuts, cane honey, prunes, and hints of pepper.
FINISH: Rich, refined, with an unexpectedly dry taste that evolves in every sip.
